Where does my donation actually go?

Your donation funds program work in community health, education, and women's economic empowerment, delivered with local partner organizations. Operating costs are kept as low as practically possible.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and major debit cards. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also available depending on device. Bank transfer for larger gifts via partnerships@ghdf.foundation.

Can I cancel or change my monthly donation?

Yes, anytime. You receive a self-service link with every confirmation email that lets you change amount, payment method, or cancel. You can also email info@ghdf.foundation.

Can I make a one-time donation instead of monthly?

Yes. Every donation page has a One-time / Monthly toggle at the top of the form.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes. A receipt is emailed automatically as soon as the donation is processed.

We do not currently issue US 501(c)(3) receipts. For US donors seeking tax-deductible giving, we can introduce a fiscal sponsorship partner on request — email [email protected].

What currencies can I give in?

USD, EUR, GBP and most major currencies are supported through Donorbox — the platform converts automatically based on your card’s issuing country. For bank transfers and wires, we hold an Estonian (EUR) account; full details are shared after a short introductory email.

How do I change or cancel my monthly gift?

You manage recurring donations directly from the Donorbox confirmation email — click “Manage your subscription” in any receipt to adjust the amount, pause, or cancel. If you can’t find the email, write to [email protected] and we’ll help directly.

Where does my money actually go?

In H1 2026, 81% of expenditure went directly to programmes — paediatric care, scholarships, women’s empowerment cohorts, community development. 12% covered operations, 6% fundraising, 1% working capital. Full breakdown on our Transparency page.

Can I give a one-time gift instead of monthly?

Yes. On each tier page (Supporter, Advocate, Champion, Leader) the Donorbox form lets you switch from “Monthly” to “One-time” before completing your gift. Or write to [email protected] for a bespoke amount or wire-transfer instructions.

Will you contact me after I give?

You’ll receive an immediate receipt from Donorbox plus a brief welcome note from us. Monthly donors get programme updates roughly quarterly — no high-frequency appeals. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.

Major Donors and Institutional Partners

For donors and institutions giving at the level of $5,000 or more, or for foundations, corporate partners, and family offices considering multi-year commitments, GHDF offers a direct relationship with the founder and the senior team — not a portal, and not a templated thank-you.

How major-donor giving works at GHDF

Direct contact. Write to [email protected]. Dr. Fevzi Kortay or a member of the senior team responds personally within 48 hours.
Bank transfer or wire. For gifts above the Donorbox processing range, bank transfer is the most cost-efficient route. Our Estonian bank account details are shared on request after a short introductory conversation.
Restricted and unrestricted giving. You can fund a specific programme — paediatric cardiac referrals, the scholarship intake, women’s empowerment cohorts — or contribute to general operations where flexibility is most useful.
Reporting on your terms. Quarterly, semi-annual, or annual reporting tailored to your due-diligence and impact-measurement requirements. We work with the formats your board or trustees already use.
Visits and site reviews. Partners committing at the $25,000+ level are welcome to visit programme sites with our team. Travel costs are the partner’s; on-the-ground coordination is ours.

Who we partner with

We work with private foundations, family offices, corporate giving programmes, healthcare institutions, and high-net-worth individual donors. We have not yet entered formal partnerships with multilateral funders (UN agencies, EU instruments, USAID-equivalents), but we are building the operational evidence base needed to apply for that class of grant from 2027 onward.
