Impact means more than numbers. It means the student who graduated and returned home to start a career. The paediatric patient whose family didn’t have to choose between their child’s surgery and their family’s food. The woman who entered formal employment for the first time. Here is what the work looks like today — measured honestly, against verified financial records.
Where the work stands — H1 2026
These figures are drawn from our H1 2026 management accounts, covering the six months from 1 January to 30 June 2026. Independent annual financial statements will be published in early 2027.
- $2.5M received in H1 2026 across grants, individual giving, and corporate partnerships
- 81% of H1 2026 expenditure went directly to programmes (12% operations, 6% fundraising, 1% governance)
- Active across 25+ countries — 14 in Africa, 8 in Asia, 3 across the Mediterranean
- 75+ university students supported with tuition, accommodation, and living costs over the lifetime of the founder’s scholarship work, now consolidated under GHDF
- Over a dozen students currently enrolled under the formal 2026 GHDF scholarship intake, with the next cohort opening in autumn
- 100+ vocational training graduates across women’s empowerment and community development programmes
- Around 30 paediatric cardiac patients per quarter referred for treatment at Istanbul university hospitals through GHDF’s medical access pathway
- 13 women currently in active economic empowerment programmes — 7 in entrepreneurship cohorts, 6 in formal employment
- Around 20 elderly patients per month receiving IV regenerative therapy through partner clinics
- Four interconnected pillars — Health, Education, Women’s Empowerment, Community Development
Where your donation goes
We publish how every donation is used, because the people funding the work deserve to see the result. 81% of H1 2026 expenditure went directly to programmes — health workers, teachers, materials, training, and the local partners who deliver them. The remainder funds the operations, reporting, and accountability systems that let us show you where your gift went.
As of 30 June 2026, GHDF held $225,000 in cash reserves and recorded a net operating surplus of $25,000 for the first half of the year — figures we treat as a starting position, not a milestone.
Stories from the work
The most honest version of our impact is told by the people closest to it. The articles below are written by the founder and team, and we are working with our community partners to publish their voices directly through 2026 and 2027.

Help fund what happens next
Every donation funds a specific programme, a specific community, and a specific person. Monthly giving is the single most effective way to support this work — it lets us plan beyond the next quarter.
